2nd Post: My HostMonster IM buddies :)

So when i found HostMonster.com, I noticed something different on their homepage. It wasn’t different from most large companies, in that they all pretty much now have a link to chat live with a support specialist. The difference with HostMonster’s chat button is that it’s HUGE and right there in your face, screaming: CHAT WITH US!

So, I did. And they answered. And then i asked more questions, and they answered. And then about 3 dozen times after that, and they were ALWAYS ONLINE! A few weeks after signing up, I click the chat button and expected to get the email form, cause it was 2 AM! But they answered and we chatted and resolved my question in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

Wow. I mean, that is just cool. Like iPhone cool.

So they answered my questions and I signed up with HostMonster. It was really easy, i could create a new domain name account, or transfer my existing one. They even have small fees for setting up SSL certificates Lightning Fast for you, no messing with that CSR crapola and what not, they did it all for me! Need a static IP address? Boom! Done.

What more could i possibly want?

How about 23 add-on sites with no extra charge to my account (unlimited add-on domains!)? And 300 GB of space? Oh, did i mention 3,000 Gigs of Transfer bandwidth a month? How about all this other crap:

SSL, FTP, Stats
CGI, Ruby (RoR), Perl, PHP, MYSQL
Front Page Extensions
Free Domain Forever
Free Site Builder
Best Support in the Industry

Yeah the last one, it’s actually true. I’ve had HostMonster since about March of 2007, and my sites have NEVER BEEN DOWN. Not even a hiccup. Or a burp. I still can’t believe how awesome these guys are!

So of course, i refer all my friends, and I give my clients the hosting they deserve: HostMonster.com.

More to come…
